Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, joining a session, or otherwise using N2L, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

2. Permitted use

You can use N2L to plan and run live events — host games, share join codes with your audience, and review session results.

You may not use N2L to:

• send spam or any unsolicited bulk communications;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users or players;
• break any applicable law, or facilitate someone else doing so;
• probe, scan, or test the security of the service without authorization;
• scrape or rebuild the service for a competing product.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a working email address at sign-up.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to harm other users.

4. Your content

You own the content you create on N2L — your categories, answer keys, Human Bingo squares, and any other inputs.

By using N2L, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you and your session participants.

5. Our content

The N2L code, design, branding, logos, and the curated content library we ship with the service belong to N2L. You may use them only as part of using the service; you may not copy, redistribute, or repurpose them outside of N2L without our written permission.

6. Service availability

N2L is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not currently offer an uptime guarantee. The service may have outages, bugs, or unexpected behavior, and we may change or discontinue features without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, N2L is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, USD $50).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold N2L harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

10. Changes to these Terms
